The Venue
The Gibson Mansion “...is on a beautiful, peaceful property conveniently located less than 2 miles from the University of Montana and Historic Downtown Missoula. Built in 1903 and re-located in 1979, this elegant victorian mansion has been lovingly restored with modern amenities added to provide the perfect location for a luxurious Montana getaway.”
We wanted to let you know that our ceremony and reception will be held outside in the garden behind the mansion. The garden is mainly grass covered, so it might not be friendly for stilettos and other high-heeled shoes. Also, this is Montana, and the weather is unpredictable. In the event of rain, our party is too large to move indoors so we will have to huddle up under the dancing and reception tent. We recommend an emergency rain coat, just in case!

The Best Western Plus Grant Creek Inn is located at 5280 Grant Creek Rd in Missoula, MT. If you would like to receive a discounted rate, please calls them at (406) 543-0700 and reserve your choice of a single king or double queen room under the “Beckenhauer-Mathson” room block! The Best Western Plus will be offering a free shuttle to and from the wedding venue with advanced notice. Just let the front desk know if this is something you would be interested in!

We are hoping to leave on our honeymoon the Monday after our wedding and check an item off our bucket list. We will be flying to San Francisco and road-tripping up the beautiful scenic coast highway. Along the way we will be touring Sillicon Valley, checking out the redwood forests, playing in the water on beaches, soaking up lots of sun, enjoying some camping, going to a concert of one of our favorite Artists, and then ending up in the Seattle-Tacoma area to get back to work the next week!
